Behind the Page

The NFL draft is here in Michigan this year! I’m about an hour away from Detroit and even here the people are going crazy. I’ve been a follower of the NFL draft for decades now, and I love learning about all the new people who are coming into the league. Draft stories will definitely get into my Week in the Life album, but this was what I felt like documenting today in my Daily Pages album, and I love how the little page turned out.

Technique of the Day

Sticker paper for the win. Again.

I used the same sticker paper as I did in yesterday’s page. You can get this sticker paper (and the clear one that I use as well) from onlinelabels.com. Sticker paper has been one of the best supplies I started using. They’re quickly becoming a staple in my creations.

Reflections & Insights

The Giants (my team) picked a wide receiver (guy who catches the ball) in the first round. I’m not thrilled with this choice, as my team doesn’t have a reliable quarterback (guy who throws the ball). And if you don’t have a guy who can throw the ball, why go out and get someone who can catch the ball?

I guess we’ll have to wait and see how this all plays out.
