Behind the Page

I’m feeling pretty headachey today, so I don’t have too much in-depth to report. I hope you’ll join us for the Daily Pages Masterclass tomorrow on collage, we’re gonna have a great time.

Technique of the Day

I had no idea what I wanted to do today, so I grabbed some magazines and found something interesting and let my story go from there. When I’m not feeling great, I love mind maps to get all the thoughts out of my head. It was fun to create this mind map here in the center of the page. I used some vellum so that the journaling would be easier to see on the hyper busy background.

Tips & Creative Wisdom

Use Mind Maps to Untangle Your Thoughts

Mind mapping is a great way to get everything out of your head and onto the page, especially when you’re not feeling your best. Writing down scattered thoughts and making connections between them can turn your busy brain into something that looks good, and honestly feels better.

Pro Tip: Try using different pen colors or stickers to categorize different thoughts and make your map even more dynamic.
