December Daily Pages 12/07/23: Home Cooking + Baked Ziti Recipe
Documenting a favorite recipe with interactive elements!
Behind the Page
One of my favorite pages in this album so far — this one has a couple of interactive elements that make it makes it so much fun to play with. On the left side I’ve got a tiny mini-album stuck on the page with pictures of my chopped vegetables and a list of ingredients. On the right side here’s a waterfall with the different steps of the recipe.
Technique of the Day
I created this mini-book with a little bit of green cardstock and some folds. I cut out my photos and then measured and cut the cardstock so I’d have about a 1/4 inch border around the outside of the photo. I used a ruler and bone folder to make the sharp creases.
Tips & Creative Wisdom
I also created this waterfall with some watercolor tags. This was a really fun way to document the steps of the recipe. I’m so glad that I picked up the little star punch that works for these tags.
