December Daily Pages 12/05/23: TV Tuesday (also interactive)!
Interchangeable TV shows!
Behind the Page
Today’s page started out with a gelli print paper I made a few weeks back. This book has more techniques and dimensional elements than my usual Daily Pages notebooks, and that includes all these mixed media papers I premade.
I used a set of these pages today as the base for this interactive TV spread.
Technique of the Day
This dimensional and interactive tv is made out of a die cut I picked up from Ali Edwards a few years ago. I flipped over the die cut and added a little sheet of clear plastic and some foam to pop it up off the page.
I cut four little sheets of white cardstock to fit behind the TV. I grabbed a circle stamp and gave each page a different color. Each TV got a different show that I’m currently watching. I slipped each of them behind the TV to see what they looked like. I left one in there and put the rest in the green envelope on the left.
Reflections & Insights
I love making interactive elements in my scrapbooks; mini-books especially. It doesn’t have to be big or complicated, just something that makes you want to touch the pages.
