This is my December Daily 2012 album. December Daily is a daily album project created by Ali Edwards, documenting the twenty-five days before Christmas.

Putting together my December Daily has been a favorite holiday tradition as well as a favorite memory-keeping project. Creating a daily album forces me to take the holiday a little slower, taking joy in those little moments that make it special.

Date Made:

The base of the album was made in November of 2012 and most of the book was completed in December of 2012; but I just put the finishing touches on the album this October.

Construction:

The outside is constructed out of 6x8" chipboard sheets, with holes punched in them to match up the holes in the page protectors I used on the inside (Studio Calico Handbook). I bound the album with 4 - 3" binder rings and added a plastic cover to protect the album from spills and smudges.

Notable Parts:

There are a few inserts in this album -- one for my last day of school and one for the Polyphonic Spree holiday concert we went to. There are some really great letterpress cards as well.
