Hey Friends!

It's time for our monthly Daily Pages masterclass, coming up at Noon ET. This month, we're talking all about into how to get back into the swing of things after a break!

Daily Pages Masterclass: Getting Back into the Swing of Things

So, getting back into a creative habit can feel challenging, especially after a break — this is exactly what I went through over the last few weeks as I’ve been getting back into the swing of things after my trip back east.

No matter what your life looks like, stuff happens (good, bad, and neutral), and stepping away from your creative practice, Daily Pages or otherwise, is completely normal — but now, it's time to dive back in.

This masterclass is designed to help you restart, rediscover the joy of your practice, and feel more connected to your creative self. Whether you've been away for a week, a month, or even longer, we’re going to make it easy, enjoyable, and inspiring to come back.

Our paid Substack subscribers and Feminist Scrapbook School students are all invited to this special session where we’ll guide you through practical steps, thoughtful approaches, and fun ways to get the creativity flowing again. Let’s rekindle that spark together.

Here’s What You Can Expect

  • Reignite your creative routine with practical, actionable steps to get your creative habit back on track.

  • Learn how to address creative blocks and hesitations that pop up after being away, including how to tackle perfectionism and overwhelm.

  • Embrace this moment as a fresh start, using "restarting" as an opportunity to look at this as creative growth rather than a setback. I’ll have easy, low-pressure prompts to help you get started smoothly.

  • Explore new approaches to make your Daily Pages practice — or whatever your creative practice is — adaptable. Life changes, and so can your creative routine, we’ll talk about how to keep it flexible and fun so it works for you.

What You'll Need:

To make the most of this masterclass, gather:

  • Daily Pages Notebook: Bring along your current one, an old one you haven’t finished, or feel free to start fresh. It’s about taking that next step forward, wherever you’re starting from.

  • Fall Fun Favorite Supplies: Pick out whatever makes you happy to use — pens, markers, washi tape, stickers, or bits of colorful paper. I’ll be using supplies related to the fall season.

  • Life Ephemera: Grab a few pieces of life that tell your recent stories — photos, notes, tickets, receipts — anything that sparks joy. We’ll add those in too.

This class is all about reconnecting with yourself and finding the fun in your creative habit again. I really hope you can join us!
