Behind the Page

I had so much fun making today’s page. I knew going into this afternoon’s session that I wanted to play around with my new stamp sets again (aside — I’m also so excited for Ali Edwards’ Week in the Life this year). I didn’t get a chance to play much with the icon set, so I grabbed the heart and did some pink on pink stamping.

Technique of the Day

NGL — I really like how this background came out. The little bit of imperfect shading on the hearts really makes them pop. And the addition of the very light pink wonky currently list stamp looks amazing in the background.

Tips & Creative Wisdom

Have fun. You never know when you’re going to create something you really love. I woke up this morning not feeling super creative (my usual Monday state), but I lucked into creating something that came out pretty great. It’s a good day.
