Behind the Page

I’ve got a huge stash of photos sitting in one of my desk drawers and this morning, I decided to grab one of the selfies to create a Thursday3 page for today. I also grabbed my Thursday3 stamp set and had fun playing around with colors that matched my shirt.

Technique of the Day

It’s super easy to mix and match stamps from different stamp sets when you use the same color ink throughout your page. The camera stamp is part of my Thursday3 set, and the little square labels are from an older Kelly Purkey stamp set. I used the same red, yellow, and blue ink on both stamps, and they coordinate perfectly. You can do the same for any sets you own!

Tips & Creative Wisdom

I really like the Versafine Clair inks. They’re my first recommendation for anyone who is looking to break into different colors of ink. They are especially excellent for Daily Pages where quick drying time is essential.
