Behind the Page

It was 18 degrees (F) when I woke up and got out to the doctor this morning, and now it’s a smooth 63 and the sun is shining. March weather is not for me, but I’m making my way through it with the help of Daily Pages. I realized that I talk about it most Mondays…but Currently List is the best thing that’s ever happened to Monday. It makes starting the creative week so simple.

As I needed to make things a little easier today, I stuck with the spring quotes I’ve been using (already on my desk and made of sticker paper, so they’re super easy to use) and added in a little stamped and colored flower basket as a nod to Easter later in the week.

Technique of the Day

Sometimes we just cross things out. Embrace the story of making a mistake. This is something I really had to learn after my headaches started to get worse and interfere with lots of word-related activities.

Especially for something like Daily Pages, I don’t want to start writing over again — especially if there’s a decent chance I’m going to make another mistake. So, I just learn to live with the little smudges and scribbles. They help to tell the story of having a hard day without outright having to say it.

Reflections & Insights

Having quote stickers on hand has been really fun. I’ll definitely be making more of these in the future — and I might even stick them in my shop at some point. I’ll definitely make a summer quote set. Are there any other quote sets that would make fun stickers? Let me know in the comments at the bottom of the post <3.
