Behind the Page

One of the Daily Pages prompts this month revolves around nature paper. This morning I was flipping through my patterned paper and found this sheet from American Crafts I picked up a few years back. It felt very spring and had a few bits that I could cut out and put onto my Currently list journaling card.

Technique of the Day

I love black ink on colorful paper, especially words. Last week I had a stamped page on a gelli print, today it’s stamping directly on the patterned paper. Black ink works the best when you’ve got a light colored busy print like this one.

Reflections & Insights

Versafine Onyx Black is my go-to black ink. I’ve been using it for literally decades and it’s the crispest, cleanest ink that I’ve ever used. And, if you’re looking for the same kind of ink in different colors — check out the Versafine Clair version.
