Behind the Page

Happy my birthday! Today’s page is my ode to birthday minimalism. I love how all the little washi sticks serve as perfect little candles, and the hand drawn flames are a great little touch.

Technique of the Day

I picked out a set of solid color washi tapes that were all the same width. I needed a set that had at least 38 different colors, and this one had at least 50, so that gave me some wiggle room to pick and choose the colors I wanted and get the full rainbow in there.

Tips & Creative Wisdom

I store my solid color washi on binder rings, and then put it on a pegboard in the corner of my studio. Here’s a look at what it looks like today (very unorganized).
