An easy DIY washi tape background

I really want to finish up my Scotland travel album. I’m about 85% of the way there and I’m going to spend a bunch of time on it this weekend. To help me work my way through the project I grabbed my supplies and pulled them out for today’s Daily Page so I could have some more hands-on time before putting the finishing touches on the book.
Technique of the Day
Making the background out of this black and white washi tape was so much fun. I wanted to keep things neutral, but you could definitely do this with colored or patterned washi tape. It’s such a fun way to create a repeating patterned background, which I usually like to do with stamps.
