Daily Pages 01/10/24: Snow Day
Or...How I decided to learn about DIY snowflakes
Behind the Page
It was snowing out today during Daily Pages. And I didn’t want to use the same snowflake stamps that I always grab for a snow day. I thought about just doing something completely different — but I love documenting the weather on Wednesdays, and this story was calling to me. So, I grabbed a few sheets of gelli prints I had lying around and pulled up some instructions for DIY snowflakes and here’s what I came up with!
Technique of the Day
It’s so easy to make these DIY snowflakes. Here’s a quick step-by-step instructions for folding and cutting these snowflakes!
Tips & Creative Wisdom
Thinner paper works better — I tried with cardstock and didn’t make it past the folding part. These were gelli prints on deli paper and printer paper, and they worked out really well.
