Prepping for Awesome Ladies Live -- it's this weekend!

Awesome Ladies Live is this weekend. I'm so excited for everyone to get into East Lansing, and for us to have a wonderful weekend together. Especially, since it’s probably going to wind up being my last Awesome Ladies Live here in Michigan.
I’ve got my final to-do list, and I’ve been checking things off as fast as I can. Monday was for finalizing everything that needs to be sent off to the overnight printer, Tuesday is for picking up last minute items — including some snacks to go in the cutest ALP bags ever.
So more than anything, I’m gonna be making quick and easy Daily Pages this week — including today’s Currently List.
Technique of the Day
I grabbed some of the gel prints I created last week with my new acrylic paints. I used the greenish one for the background and this yellow-green neon one for the journaling squares.
I stamped everything with StazOn ink. StazOn ink works best on slick surfaces. Acrylic paint, especially this new iridescent stuff, is definitely a slick surface. Other inks might work, but they’ll have a high drying time, and that’s not something I’m interested in during Daily Pages.
Reflections & Insights
Currently List has seven prompts that I use most weeks. Sometimes when I’m wanting to do something a little different, maybe more creative, I’ll pick and choose the prompts that work best for me that week. Feel free to do the same! And in fact — maybe even swap one or two of the prompts for something entirely your own. It’s all about telling the stories that matter to you.

Tips & Creative Wisdom
Even though we won’t be having a full Awesome Ladies Live retreat next summer (that’s our planned move time), we’ll be bringing back the ALL retreat in 2026, and loo out for smaller, localized Awesome Ladies event next year! It’s incredible the creative energy that you get when attending one of our events. The energy lasts for weeks and weeks. It’s a boost to your creative soul that you carry with you.
