Behind the Page
I had so much fun making today’s page. I got to my desk this morning and looked around for something to pair with today’s Currently List. I saw these month stamps and thought that it would be fun to make a September into October page.
I wanted to use warmer colors — so I flipped through some patterned papers and gel prints, and came across one that had a bunch of red, but no other colors. I decided that it would be easy enough to add in some yellows and orange, so I grabbed some paint and just added a bit of color on top of the red paper. I’m a huge fan of how the whole thing came out .
Technique of the Day
This week’s Currently List:
Watching: Industry (season 3 finale was great), Slow Horses (my favorite show on right now), lots of football
Reading: A Court of Silver Flames (started this morning) — I zipped through all the other ACOTAR books. Big fan.
Listening: Game of Thrones on audiobook — I’m on the fourth book right now, and I’m such a huge fan of Arya’s story
Making: We made everything bagels this weekend, and they rival what we can get at home
Feeling: The weather has been giving me terrrrrible headaches
Planning: The rest of fall! I’m planning a trip to Meijer Gardens sometime next month.
Loving: The cooler weather. Aside from the pressure situation, this is my ideal forecast.
