Behind the Page
I’ve slept so poorly the last few nights (headaches), so I’m absolutely drained today. I’m gonna grab a quick nap before dinner tonight and hopefully get back on track, because less sleep means worse headaches, and worse headaches means less sleep. So sometimes, a forced nap is the best thing I can do to try to break that cycle.
Oh yeah, and my photo for today sucks — one of my studio lights went out over the weekend, and the fancy lightbulb replacements won’t be here until tomorrow. It was one of *those* weekends.
Today’s page is a collage made with a bunch of the stuff I created for this past weekend’s masterclass, if you’re a paid subscriber you can download the printables and watch the replay of the masterclass here:
Technique of the Day
This week’s Currently List:
Watching:
LOST—we’re on season 5. It such a good show.
NFL Pro Bowl—idc what anyone else says, I will defend this new version of Pro Bowl weekend to the death. That tug of war was incredible, and that punting competition—amazing? Also, when Eli Manning wins, I feel better about being a Giants fan.
Reading:
Lots of Substack this week. A few things that I’ve bookmarked:
Listening:
Still listening to Onyx Storm (I started a second re-listen, I start over at the beginning when I’m done with this one). Also ACOMAF, it’s my bedtime fairy tale (literally).
Making:
My digital diary pages. Lots of screenshots, lots of little bits of art, notes from throughout the day. I’ve got a newsletter about this coming out on Saturday.
Feeling:
Headachey. The temps are up and down, and we’re in an every few days it snows weather pattern.
Planning:
Book of Me for this year — we’re starting March 8th, and it’s gearing up to be my favorite edition of this project ever.
Loving:
Cozy blankets. Heating pads. Cocooning on the couch.

Tips & Creative Wisdom
Use What You’ve Already Made
On low-energy days, there’s no need to start from scratch. Revisit scraps, printables, or pieces from recent projects—like say, masterclass downloads—and let them guide your page. It’s an easy way to stay creative without adding extra effort.
Pro Tip: Keep a small leftovers stash of previous project bits for quick, low-energy collaging when you need it.
