Currently: A Hint (or more) of Mint
I've been watching Bridgerton, Scandal, and Game of Thrones -- what about you?
Today’s Color
Behind the Page
I’m back! And today I created a whole flip out page to give myself a little more room in this notebook. That’ll make sure that I’ve got more than enough room for all the colors this month.
I love the little label on the ‘cover’ of the flip out. It looks like it’s a tiny little book, waiting to be opened. And I love that it hides the Currently list for this week. It’s a perfect little page.
Technique of the Day
I did a lot of tone on tone stamping today. This is a perfect technique when you want a subtle background. I’ve got these big circular/sun stamps on the cover page and I used a tiny starburst stamp on the inside page.
To make this happen, I used matching cardstock and ink. Mine are from Concord and 9th — which has a several dozen matching inks and cardstocks. Today, I used ‘sea breeze’, which is a perfect mint color. If you’re looking for a trick
Reflections & Insights
Who else watched Bridgerton this weekend? I’m not happy that they split the season into the two separate parts. It really messed with the storytelling beats throughout the season. That being said, Nicola Coughlin was amazing throughout the season. She was stunningly beautiful and played that role so fiercely. I look forward to more of the stories in this world (even if it’s not until 2026).
Let me know what you’re watching in the comments or in a reply!

Tips & Creative Wisdom
Now that I’ve taken a few days off and created a flip out for today’s page — the math is all wrong in my notebook. I’ll need to count up the number of pages I’ve got left and see how it works out with the number of days left in Color Month. We’ll see if I can just get by with doing single pages on the weekend — or if I’ll need to get creative with extra pages. I’ll keep you updated!
