Crafty Ass Female Podcast EP 01 // Introduction to the Podcast

In this short introduction episode, Amanda and I chat about how we came up with the podcast, the origin story of our badass logo, and our hopes and dreams for where we can take the show.

We are so excited to put this show together and be able to bring it to the crafty ass female audience that we know is out there. We'll be putting out new shows weekly, on Monday mornings, so that you can listen on your commute into work or with your first cup of coffee of the week.

On a personal note, I've been wanted to create a podcast for a while now, but it just hasn't felt right until now. Talking with Amanda is so much fun, and we have the best conversations. Our chemistry together and the way that we explore topics is what I'm really excited to share with the rest of the world.

With the podcast, it's so much harder to erase everything I say right after I say it; like I do when I over edit all of my writing. One of my biggest intentions for 2018 is to stop self-censoring myself and allow my words to guide me. This podcast is a great way for me to do that with my conversations with Amanda and our thoughts on what it means to be a badass woman finding her way in this world and using her craftiness as a resource rather than hiding it because it's not 'cool'.
