Day #15 Behind the Page
We got this King Arthur Flour catalog in the mail a few weeks before Thanksgiving, and as soon as I saw the cover, I knew I wanted to use it as a page in this year’s album. So when we spent this past Sunday working on our cookies, I knew it was time to pull it out. I absolutely love the colors (maybe I use this as next year’s color palette?). I also knew I wanted to leave a bunch of the background visible, so I decided this was where this week’s Currently list was going to live.
I’m so happy with how this page turned out.

Watching:
Interior Chinatown is still awesome. It’s so fun when you’re being directly targeted with storytelling. Football is fine, I’m at the point in the season where I’m a little bit over it right now, especially when the games and the coverage is just bad. Meh — there are better things to do (like playing that video game I shared yesterday lol).
Still continuing my annual re-watch of Crash Landing on You. I’m almost up to the motorcycle scene. That scene was when I knew I was in love with this show on my first watch through.
We watched Carry On over the weekend. It was fine. Definitely worth watching once, but probably not a holiday movie I’m going to go back to again and again.
Reading:
Reading some trashy romance novels and studying Fourth Wing like a nerd.
Listening:
I’ve been listening to a lot of k-pop while writing (since I understand none of the lyrics, it’s great when I’m working with words). And I’m still working through the Great Library series. I haven’t been listening to much music this week, all books all the time.
Making:
Cookies! (as established)
Feeling:
Cold. It got so cold this past week lol.
Planning:
Holiday stuff. I still need to get the big tree up and wrap the presents.

Pro Tip: If you want to leave more of the background visible, stick to simple additions like journaling cards or vellum for balance.
