Around Here -- Our New Adventure

It's been a while since I've posted about what's going on around here, but it's finally time to step out into the light and start being super excited. I've been avoiding documenting my life because of this great limbo I felt like I was in, and a series of brave decision that I've had to make.

Since early January we've been secretly embarking on a new adventure -- For the past three and a half months, Jeff and I have been planning a cross-country move to East Lansing, Michigan where he'll be attending a PhD program at Michigan State. I'm 100% terrified of living in a new place, being away from every person I know, and trying to move a business across the country. But I can do this and it will be amazing.

Last weekend we took our first trip out to East Lansing; we spent time on campus, learned about the area, and found our new home. We'll be moving over the summer, making sure we're settled in before the school year starts.

I love our new home, and our new adventure -- even if it is definitely the most terrifying thing I've ever done. I'll be sharing more of the moving process, and really getting back to telling my story. I'm glad to finally feel like this is all real and give myself the personal permission to start documenting our lives again.
