Hey friends!

It’s the first of the month, and that means it’s time for a brand new LENS theme and mini-magazine. This month, we’re all about Spring Fun. What are the things you love to do in spring, what are your favorite stories to tell, and so much more. This monthly content is a part of your paid Substack subscription (or or Feminist Scrapbook School membership). It’s overflowing with inspiration and ideas to help you get your stories told.

rukristin: Feminist Scrapbooker is supported by creative humans like you. To receive our Lens Mini-Magazine each month and support our work, consider becoming a paid subscriber.

Here’s what you can look forward to this month:

  • Spring Fun: This issue of Lens Magazine celebrates the changing of the seasons and the arrival of Spring. Packed with creative prompts, thoughtful reflection questions, and a bunch of spring-focused ideas, every page invites you to ignite your creativity with us this month.

  • Daily Pages Challenge: Dive into 5 different Daily Pages challenges, each designed to encourage you to get your Spring Fun down onto the page.

  • Book of Me - Spring Fun Edition: Lean into our monthly story and style prompts, helping you to craft at least one page in your Book of Me. This month is all about our spring stories and the ways in which spring can inspire us creatively.

  • Creative Team Inspirations: Get inspired by our talented creative team's contributions this month, making projects that really share their love of all things spring.

One of my Book of Me pages for this month — keeping it incredibly simple with a full page photo and a quote about spring.

I’m a huge fan of making simple pages. It helps me tell more stories, and stories that I wouldn’t otherwise be telling. We all have such great cameras these days, right in our pockets, using those photos for full page spreads is a great way to show, not tell.

This month: The Joy of Spring Fun

Join us for the joy of Spring! This month’s magazine is filled to the brim with ideas centered around this theme, from storytelling about your favorite spring pastimes to using nature as a jumping off point. Also, don't let this month's reflective questions pass you by.

  • Share and Connect: We're eager to see how you bring these spring fun prompts and challenges to life. Share your creations either here on the Substack, or over on the ALP website/app and engage with our amazing community.

  • Reflect and Engage: Each theme comes with thought-provoking reflection questions. Join the conversation in our forum and share your spring stories and insights.
