Anthropologie + Desk Organization

I'm obsessed with things that hold other things. I love cups, bowls, wire baskets, canisters, boxes, etc, anything that can hold something else. They make the already fun task of organizing so much more enjoyable, both when you're organizing and when you're going through your already organized stuff.

My desk is filled with ceramic/porcelain containers from anthropologie. One of my favorite organization tools are these latte bowls. They come in a million different colors, new each year and, Jeff gets me the newest sets as an Xmas gift each year, so they also have a little bit of a sentimental value. Because they are so pretty I keep them right on my desk and use them to hold whatever supplies I want to keep on hand right now.

Currently this is what I'm storing:

1. Yellow Bowl: Woodmount stamps

1. Green Bowl: Random ink pads

1. Grey Bowl: Tags

1. Teal Bowl: Catchall for random things

1. Strawberry (Square) Container: 3x4 journaling cards

1. Little Red Bowl: Paper labels

1. Little Yellow Bowl: Flair

1. Little Purple Bowl: More flair

1. Little Grey Bowl: Paperclips

These things change depending on what I'm working on at the moment. I routinely dump out the little bowls and fill them up with other things when I think they're getting too disorganized. One of the things I'm looking forward to most about our move to Michigan next month is having a much bigger studio space with a lot more room to spread out.
