5 Tips for Taking Camera Phone Pics at Concerts

We love live music. Concerts are far and away our favorite Date Night activity. J and I go to concerts for date night more than anything else. With Manhattan only twenty minutes away, there are amazing shows all the time!
I've used the Rhonna Designs app for the iPhone to create text overlays for these photos, but the A Beautiful Mess app would work too!
Eventually I'll create a mini-album with prints of these, but until then -- they are super fun to look at, and I love that the text overlays help to transport me back to that exact moment!
Tips for Camera Phone Pics at Concerts
Never use your flash -- not only is it terribly rude to the performers, it's never going to result in a better picture.Â
Time your photos with the lighting. Take pictures when they're using bright white lights on stage, especially lighting from above.
Keep as still as you can. If you are moving around too much, your shots will be blurry (although that can be a cool look too).
Snap a picture of the show before it starts, or the outside of the theater, just in case the pictures you take during the show aren't as good as you'd like them to be.
ENJOY YOURSELF. Experience the music first and foremost. Snap a couple of pictures second. Who cares if you have great pictures from a concert you don't remember because you were too busy trying to take the perfect photo?
