3 Steps to Establish a Consistent Daily Pages Creative Habit
How to make Daily Pages work for you and your life
Are you worried that you won’t be able to create (or maintain) your own Daily Pages creative habit? We’ve got you covered.
There’s a simple three step process to establishing a consistent creative process. And the trick is to understand that this isn’t a one-time process — but something to fall back on and repeat when life gets in the way of your consistency.
1. Set aside dedicated time each day for Daily Pages. This can legit be 5 minutes a day. It’s not about how long you can create for, it’s about exercising your creative muscles on a regular basis.
2. Carve out a designated space for creating — free from distractions. If you don’t have a permanent space for your creative supplies, find a tool bag that holds all the essentials that you can take with you wherever you create.
3. Start small (seriously five minutes) and gradually increase the duration and complexity of your creative sessions. You’ll find that you create longer in some seasons and shorter in other seasons.
When you find yourself falling out of your creative habit, just start over at step one and you’ll be back to your creative habit in no time at all.
