11/16/23 Daily Page: Thursday3 + Gelli Prints
Mixed media, stamping, and precision cutting.
Behind the Page
For the first time In literal months, I took my Thursday3 in the morning; so I had it available to print out on my new little printer. I grabbed a few Gelli prints that I made previously; one I used as the page background, and another for the numbers. I wrote my Thursday3 text inside the numbers. It’s a fun way to jot down your journaling.
Technique of the Day
I’m a big fan of precision cutting (also known as fussy cutting — but I dislike that phrase). It’s such a soothing task. I’ve got a great pair of little Fiskars scissors that do great detail cutting.
Reflections & Insights
Daily Pages is a great place to use a bunch of my DIY papers. I also love that I have this little portable printer now. It was so great to print out my Thursday3 photo with very little fanfare. I’m planning on making more DIY papers this weekend. It’s so much easier to make more DIY papers when I’m using them regularly. So glad for Daily Pages
